Information days held in Moravicki district

For the purpose of promotion the Cross-border Programme Serbia - Montenegro funded by the EU's Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) after including Moravički district in the programme area, the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) organized Info days in Ivanjica, Čačak and Lučani. Info days were attended by 38 representatives of local governments, public enterprises, educational, cultural and sports institutions, as well as non-governmental organizations. The attendees were given information on the Cross-border Programme Serbia - Montenegro, the main characteristics of a cross-border project, the role of the Joint Technical Secretariat, and the results of the 1st Call for Proposals. Capacities of local governments, as well as the need for additional training regarding the use of EU funds were also discussed. The Joint Technical Secretariat uses the opportunity to express gratitude to above mentioned municipalities for their assistance in the preparation and organization of Info days.
